Notes for Llewellyn Walter Appleton
Llewellyn Walter Appleton was born in the family home in what is now the east end of London. At birth, Llewellyn was considered the weaker of he and his twin brother William John and he was not expected to survive. As it turned out, he did survive and the twin brother died a few weeks later.
